Memorial Day Weekend

We spent the long weekend (actually made it into a 5-day weekend) over in Eastern Wa at a friend's cabin and property which is near Winthrop and a little past Chelan. We left Thursday AM and Dylan did amazing in the car only waking up when we hit Leavenworth to eat and then slept the rest of the way! We borrowed my parent's tent trailer to stay in and now are definitely convinced that we want one too! It was super hot over there and even though Dylan spent time only in the shade, he developed a bad case of heat rash all over his face and neck. Joe participated in a golf tournament and horse-shoe tournament and won 1st place in horseshoes! Dylan enjoyed his first 'camping' trip (we stayed in a trailer but there was a cabin and power, bathrooms, showers, etc to use) and next year we hope to have our own trailer to make use of!
