Your 8-month-old: Week 3
I receive weekly emails about what the average baby Dylan's age should be doing and learning that particular week. I found this week especially funny since he's been standing up for almost 2 1/2 months! But it was true that when he would stand up at first, he didn't know how to get back down and would just let go of whatever he was holding on to and would fall over like a tree- timber!

Many 8-month-olds are strong enough to pull themselves onto their feet and stay there by holding on to you or a piece of furniture. A somewhat comical aspect of this wonderful development is that some babies know how to get up -- but not back down again.
