Big boy underpants

Even though he shows no interest whatsoever in going potty in the big boy potty (when I ask, he says, "I don't want candy" because he remembers that the few times he has sat on the potty I offered a candy as a reward), I bought a pack of underwear with cool characters including Buzz, Lightning, Nemo, etc. to get him used to them.  Since he won't go on the potty, a diaper still needs to be worn but he started wanting to wear them OVER his pants.  He looks like a little super hero. 

We don't know what he has against trying to go potty but he's started removing his diapers at daycare without telling anyone.  One day the babysitter said she found a diaper lying on the kitchen floor and thought nothing of it.  Then when he woke up from his nap 2 hours later, she discovered he wasn't wearing a diaper!  He was dry though, which was an amazing thing.  He had pulled his pants down, removed the diaper and pulled the pants back on.  Tricky feller.

And then today, they were at a school function in the library of her kids' school and he was standing next to his babysitter holding her hand while she talked to other parents.  A while later, she noticed a diaper sitting on the bookshelf next to her and realized that with the other hand that she wasn't holding onto, he removed his diaper while still wearing his shorts and put it on the shelf!  Not sure his motive but makes for a good laugh! And luckily he hasn't had any accidents!
