We made the best of this weekend, got a lot done and made the most with the nice weather! I had picked out a paint color for the dining room so we planned to paint this weekend. We started the transformation on Saturday morning, having to make a stop at Home Depot for more paint and supplies half-way through and to also get a new chandelier.

That night, we met up with some friends for dinner at Red Robin and then to see Cars 2. Dylan is in love with Cars and everything to do with it. He did very well in the theater, laughed a little too loudly a few times and was a little squirmy but made it through the entire 2-hour film and really liked it.

Sunday, we finished painting and Joe put up the new chandelier. Then Dylan and I headed outside to enjoy the sun and played in the pool before we all went outside to plant some vegetables in our yard and pulled weeds. We got lots of stuff done!
