Halloween 2011

I've always liked decorating for Halloween.  And this year I had help with spook-ifying our house as Joe's mom came up for a visit and was able to pitch in.  The only downside is that since we are out all night trick-or-treating on Halloween night,  nothing gets turned on and all the efforts get missed.

Dylan picked out a robot costume this year.  After loving how warm and cozy his shark costume was last year, I decided to see if there was one that he liked from Old Navy this year too.  He picked out the robot and we were set.  He had a fun party at daycare that day and they painted pumpkins, had treats and wore their costumes.

Prior to trick-or-treating, we met up at a friend's house for dinner.  Then the fun began!  One of the Dads constructed a trailer with chairs that was pulled behind a golf cart for the kids (and adults) to sit in and added lights too!  It made for easy transportation to the end of the neighborhood and when there was a trek between houses.

Dylan had a great time, though tired out pretty quickly and I think the cold was rough on him too.  It was a very chilly night.  But we all had a great Halloween!
