| Tie-dye eggs |
Seeing that Easter was the day after we got home from Palm Springs, we didn't do much this year. I dyed Easter eggs late the night before and after Dylan went to bed, stuffed and hid some eggs. Joe had to go into work Easter morning to get caught up on work so we did a quick egg hunt and then he headed out and Dylan and I left to meet my parents for breakfast in Lake Forest Park. This was the first year the Easter Bunny hid eggs for him, and even thought they weren't hidden that well, he still had a hard time finding some. Maybe next year he'll finally get the concept of 'looking'.

After breakfast, we went to church with my parents. He sat pretty quietly, and even crawled up in my lap and almost fell asleep during the singing. But towards the end my mom took him to find the classrooms to play for a little bit.

After church, we went to my parents for a lunch of egg salad sandwiches and Dylan did another egg hunt in the backyard. He actually had the hang of it this time and didn't need as many clues to find them.
We hung around for a little bit since he loves being around my Dad and brother. My mom and sister left to catch the ferry over to Bainbridge but since Joe had to work, we decided not to go and my Dad wasn't feeling well. Early afternoon, we headed home to see Daddy and get things from the trip put away and organized. I had lots of planning and errands for Dylan's birthday party the following weekend so I was on top of getting the suitcases unpacked and laundry started to make time for party planning.
