My office held its annual summer picnic Friday, the 17th at Lake Sammamish State Park. We closed the office so we could all enjoy a day off together! Joe happened to be one of only three husbands who could get off of work...I felt bad since I had heard others could make it so I urged him to come, but in the end, most of the others had to work.
We have a big office with two currently practicing dentists, six hygienists, two assistants, one sterilization tech, three front office gals and our office manager. Add some spouses, kids and significant others and it's a pretty large group! The party was complete with a great BBQ, lots of desserts (of course my fave), and even a generator-run margarita maker! The little ones really hit it off, especially Dylan and Ethan who are just about three months apart! And little Evan who just turned two.
It was a very warm day so staying out of the heat was key. My boss brought his wake board boat and the teens and young adults spent most of the time out enjoying the warm water, we enjoyed it from the beach. We had plenty of good food, drinks and great company, We had a great time!
