Pumpkin Patch x2

We actually made it to two different pumpkin patches this year. Earlier this week, I had mentioned to Dylan about going, it was supposed to be the nicest day of the week on Wednesday so I thought we'd go that afternoon. I guess I forgot to mention my intentions to Joe and we discovered that afternoon after waiting all day to go, that he had a late work meeting. Dylan had been waiting all day to go so I ended up taking him to a close one while Joe was still working. We went to Carlton Farm and picked out a pumpkin for him.

Since Joe wanted to come to the pumpkin patch too, we decided to go all together today. We had been to The Farm at Swan's Trail last year for Kennedy's birthday and had some friends who've gone this year and it's a very cool location with lots of activities for kids. But it turns out everyone and their Mother had the same idea, it was sooo packed you couldn't even turn into the overflowing parking lot. So we ventured to the other end of Snohomish to Craven Farm. It had much better parking and didn't seem as congested. It was a little bit of a time crunch since it seemed that the skies would open up and downpour at any minute so we picked out our pumpkins, got some kettle corn and were back in the truck right before it started to dump rain/hail.
