My mom joined us this past weekend to go see the How to Train Your Dragon Live Spectacular show down at the Tacoma Dome. It's based on the Dreamworks movie and features 23 ginormous animatronic dragons, some which breathe fire or smoke and some that even fly! It has live actors that not only act but dance and breakdance too. Dylan was soo excited leading up to it and did great throughout the show. Some parts were a little scary and loud but he'd cover his ears or bury his face in my Mom's lap.
Of course he wanted a souvenir and boy, do they get you. The plastic "Toothless" dragon figurine he picked out was $25! At least his still plays with it.
I brought my small camera since I'd seen that they didn't allow cameras at certain events so I chose not to bring my big camera. So lots of the pictures aren't of the best quality of the dragons since I had to zoom and they prohibited the use of flash.
It was a really great show, just over an hour and a half with a small intermission. The dragons were so life-like the way they moved and functioned. Great show!
